There is a saying that "the border between music and noise is always culturally defined”. Each region has its own form of music and varies widely within that region itself. Every composition and performance vary according to the culture and the social context. To many people in many cultures music is an important part of their way of life. Music has been part of religion too. Each religion has its own way of music. Music can be divided into genres and subgenres. Music has changed to suit the needs of the modern generations and has evolved in many forms such as rock, jazz, hip hop, pop, heavy metal etc. Music is for everyone, from kids to teenagers and to older people. Indian classical music is one of the oldest musical traditions in the world and dates back to the Indus valley civilization. Ever since, many popular artists have left their marks in the field of music. Music never changes it’s the artists who change the rhythm of the music.
